Fabulous food from nearly 40 different local restaurants and vendors tantalized the tastebuds of over 300 guests this past Tuesday, August 25, 2015. The event was sold out and featured a variety of restaurants from Bravo, Chick fil a, Trader Joe’s, and chefs from Atria Assisted Living, as well as numerous other restaurants. They all volunteered their time and resources to help raise funds for the Stroke Association. In addition to fantastic food, there was a live band to entertain guests throughout the night.

Numerous supportor’s including area physicians, business owners, professionals, survivors, and our very own staff from Silver Tree Home Care helped support this event. Board members raffled off a Kate Spade purse, a Kenny Perry golf package, and other fun items that helped to raise funds that will add awareness and education for those affected by Strokes.

Kevin Ratliff was the 2015 Honoree of the Annual Stroke Extravaganza Tasting Event for his dedication to volunteerism. Kevin actually suffered a stroke himself in 2012. Since his recovery, he has spent numerous hours volunteering at health fairs and events. Kevin suffered from a stroke at the age of 49. Since then, it has been his passion to educate the younger population. Be sure to click on his name to hear his testimony.

We would like to thank the Louisville community for supporting the Kentucky and Southern Indiana Stroke Association and look forward to seeing everyone again next year.
